WHERE EVERYONE HAS
A SEAT AT THE TABLE
YOUR PLACE
The Gathering Place will always be a place where everyone has a seat at the table. You can call this place home.
YOUR PEOPLE
This is the perfect place for imperfect people to gather as authentic family.
YOUR PURPOSE
You have been created on purpose and for a purpose. At The Gathering Place, we'll help you live out that purpose and make a difference in your community.

OUR VALUES
JESUS IS THE CENTER
We will tell everyone we can about the hope they can find by following the Son of God. Jesus will never be our best kept secret.
THE BIBLE IS OUR AUTHORITY
God reveals Himself through His word. Scripture has, and will continue to, stand the test of time. The Bible speaks, we follow.
WE CHOOSE JOY
There is no greater joy than to serve God with people you love. We will laugh loud, hard, and often.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME
It doesn't matter where you come from, what you look like. You won't be judged by your car, kids, school, or background. At TGP, everyone has a seat at the table.
PURPOSE OVER PREFERENCE
When we lead with preference, we forget what our true purpose is. We choose what matters most.
GENEROSITY IS OUR PRIVILEGE
We commit to open-handed living because we believe it is better to give than to receive. Our vision will travel at the speed of our generosity.
WE ARE FAMILY
God created each of us to connect in community. You don't have to have it all figured out or everything together to be part of the faith family. You can belong before you believe.
EXCELLENCE IS OUR STANDARD
Whether we are serving during a weekend experience, a small group connection, or giving back in our community, we hold nothing back. We give our best and nothing less.
OUR BELIEFS
ABOUT THE BIBLE
The Holy Bible, and only the Bible, is the authoritative Word of God. it alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths. in its original writing, it is inspired, infallible, and inerrant. 2 Timothy 3:16 ; 2 Peter 1:20-21 ; Proverbs 30:5 ; Romans 16:25-26
ABOUT HUMANITY
We believe that humanity was created in the image of God but, through sin, was alienated from God, thus incurring both physical and spiritual death. Man is now totally unable to save themselves from God’s wrath, except by way of God’s mercy through Jesus Christ. Genesis 1:26; Romans 3:10-11; Mark 10:18
ABOUT THE CHURCH
We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith the finished work of Jesus. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving him and by making him known to the lost world. Ephesians 1:22, 4:12; 1 Corinthians 15:27; Hebrews 10:24-25
ABOUT GOD
We believe in one true God, who exists eternally in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (The Trinity): Each of whom is fully and equally God; possessing all of the Divine nature and attributes, and is worthy of our worship and service.
ABOUT SALVATION
We believe that Jesus Christ became flesh to reveal God to man. Through his perfect life and sacrificial death, He atoned for the sins of humanity, alone, for salvation. Therefore, God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as a sufficient payment for their sin. John 3:16-17; Romans 3:23-26, 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9
ABOUT JESUS
Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity. On earth, Jesus was 100% God and 100% man. He is the only man ever to have lived a sinless life. He was born of a virgin, performed miracles, died on the cross for mankind, and thus atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood. He rose from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in power and glory. John 1:1, 14, 20:28; 1 Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6; Philippians 2:5-6; 1 Timothy 2:5
ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN LIFE
We believe that all Christians are called to live for Christ and not for themselves. By obedience to the Word of God and daily submitting to the Holy Spirit, every believer can mature and be conformed to the image of Jesus and His Lordship in their life. Ephesians 2:10; Matthew 6:15
